Overview
This role involves hands-on work with feed mixing, grain handling and equipment operation and maintenance, combined with the ability to provide superior service to our customer community.
Duties
- Produce and process all feed products. This includes manufacturing, sacking, loading and unloading.
- Maintain feed and ingredient inventory and ensure appropriate stocking.
- Operate all elevator loading, unloading and drying equipment.
- Receive grain from producers, which includes weighing, probing/testing, grading the product, loading and unloading.
- Assists customers with purchases and other needs in a respectful, professional manner.
- Complete all required logs and/or paperwork.
- Provides basic tire services as needed.
- Performs preventive maintenance and housekeeping duties inside and outside of all facilities.
- Operates powered equipment, i.e. skid loader, forklift, etc.
- Handle dry fertilizers for customer orders.
- Performs ALL other duties as assigned by Location Manager
- Willingness to float to other locations as needed.
Requirements
- High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- 3 months related experience
- CDL License with an acceptable driving record OR willingness to attain
