Summary:
The CNC Operator is responsible for the production process of cutting quality custom matting and adhering to the safety and work process procedures.

North West Rubber (NWR) is a rapidly growing company. We have been in the recycling business and exponentially growing for over 50 years and have been in the “Green Sector” long before it became cool. NWR recycles used tires into industrial rubber flooring used for horse barn stalls and trailers, athletic facilities, truck beds, and industrial applications. We are looking for great people to join our diverse team at our Abbotsford, BC location.

Key Responsibilities / Details:
Setup and cutting of various rubber matting
Perform minor equipment repairs
Replace and monitor inventory of specialized blades
Follow safe work place procedures & ensure personnel protective equipment is worn
Consistently keep work area tidy
Checks for quality on outgoing products
Maintain target production rate
Specifications:
Plant runs 24/7 – Must be able to maintain continental 12 hour shifts.
Minimum 1 year CNC operating experience
Comfortable with technology and computer applications
Walking, standing, sitting, reaching, pulling, lifting
Wear Personal Protective Equipment and follow safe work procedures
Work as part of a diverse team.
