The Project Assistant provides project management and administrative support services for branch Executive Director, Directors, and staff (i.e., initiation, planning, execution, control, and close-out) in consultation with project managers and client managers as well as stakeholders.
Job Requirements:
Secondary school graduation or equivalent and one (1) year *related experience
*Related experience must include:
Managing deadlines and prioritizing multiple concurrent tasks
Working in a confidential office setting
Managing Outlook calendars, scheduling meetings and taking meeting minutes
Making travel arrangements for a group of staff
Using Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
Preference may be given to applicants with one (1) or more of the following:
Certificate or coursework in office administration or business administration
Experience using virtual collaboration tools such as OneNote and/or Teams
Experience in CLIFF, eApprovals, EDRMS, and/or iExpense
Preference may be given to candidates with additional years of experience in any of the above experience requirements and/or preferences

About this Position:
Currently there are two (2) permanent positions available.
There is one (1) temporary opportunity until August 21st, 2024. A permanent appointment may result from this temporary appointment.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to one (1) day at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies.
Employees of the BC Public Service must be located in BC at the time of employment.
