Job Title: Cleaner – Light Duty (Temporary)
Location: Vancouver, BC
Wage: $17.56/hour
Shift: Full Time, Temporary, Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 4:00pm
About the Role:
We’re looking for a cleaner for a temporary placement from May 16, 2024 to June 14, 2024. This is an opportunity to work for an organization that is proud to provide an essential service – keeping our communities safe & sanitized.
What you’ll be doing:
Disinfecting all high touch point areas
Sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming
Cleaning building common areas, hallways, lobbies, bathrooms, kitchen etc.
Collect and dispose of trash in garbage containers on a regular basis
Spot cleaning walls, ceilings, partitions, light switches and window sills, door glass
Enhanced cleaning as per work orders when requested
Additional tasks assigned by Manager
You have:
Cleaning experience in a commercial setting is consider an asset
Motivation and a willingness to work and learn
Strong time management skills in order to ensure all work is completed by the end of shift
Ability to take initiative to determine and complete necessary tasks, even with minimal supervision
Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine
Must be able to pass a background check
