Duties:
– Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
– Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
– Empty trash bins and replace liners
– Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
– Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including hallways and lobbies
– Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
– Report any maintenance or repair issues to the supervisor
Experience:
– Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work preferred
– Familiarity with power tools and hand tools for basic maintenance tasks
– Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers
– Strong time management skills to complete tasks efficiently
– Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
Skills:
– Time management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
– Clean: Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and ability to maintain a clean environment
– Power tools: Familiarity with using power tools for basic maintenance tasks
– Customer service: Ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
– Hand tools: Proficiency in using hand tools for basic maintenance tasks
– Commercial cleaning: Understanding of commercial cleaning standards and practices
– Facilities maintenance: Basic knowledge of facilities maintenance tasks and procedures
– Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with team members and customers
– Heavy lifting: Ability to lift heavy objects as required for cleaning tasks
– Custodial: Knowledge of custodial duties and responsibilities
