Job Title: Temporary Heavy Duty Cleaner (Nights)
Location: Lansdowne Mall, Richmond BC
Shift: Thursday to Monday – 9:30pm to 6:00am – Shift times may vary based on operational requirements
Wage: $18.28/hr

About the Role:
We’re looking for reliable, conscientious individuals with who take pride in shiny clean spaces. This is a temporary full-time opportunity to support our client by providing an essential service – keeping their workforce safe. This position will last approximately until July 24, 2024 with the possibility of extension. If you understand the importance of Health & Safety, sanitation and cleanliness, we want to hear from you.
What you’ll be doing:
Disinfecting all high touch point areas
Operating heavy-duty cleaning equipment: auto-scrubbers, burnishers, etc.
Troubleshooting minor repairs on cleaning equipment
Sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming
Cleaning building common areas, hallways, lobbies, bathrooms, gym, shower rooms and exterior etc.
Collect and dispose of trash in garbage containers on a regular basis
Spot cleaning walls, ceilings, partitions, light switches and window sills
Any other tasks assigned under the scope of work for Lansdowne Mall
You have:
A willingness to work and learn
The ability to obtain a background or security clearance
Knowledge of WHMIS is not required, but considered an asset
Cleaning experience is considered an asset, but not required
