Job Title: Heavy Duty Cleaner
Location: 701 W Georgia St, Vancouver BC
Wage: $19.38/hour
Shift: Full Time, Permanent
Monday to Wednesday – 12:00pm to 8:30pm
Thursday and Friday – 2:00pm to 10:30pm
Hours may vary based on statutory holidays and adjustments to mall hours.

About the Role:
We’re looking for cleaners with a passion for a clean space at one of our newest sites! This is an opportunity to work for an organization that is proud to provide an essential service – keeping our communities safe & sanitized.
What you’ll be doing:
Disinfecting all high touch point areas
Sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming
Cleaning building common areas, hallways, lobbies, bathrooms, kitchen etc.
Collect and dispose of trash in garbage containers on a regular basis
Spot cleaning walls, ceilings, partitions, light switches and window sills, door glass
Scrubbing, mopping, heavy sweeping, cleaning of light fixtures and replacing bulbs, and general maintenance duties confined under the Janitorial Industry
Additional tasks assigned by Manager
You have:
Motivation and a willingness to work and learn
Strong time management skills in order to ensure all work is completed by the end of shift
Ability to take initiative to determine and complete necessary tasks, even with minimal supervision
Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine
Knowledge of WHMIS is not required, but considered an asset
Cleaning experience is considered an asset, but not required
Must be able to pass a background check
