Job Summary
We are seeking motivated and dependable Class C Box Truck Driver’s to join our team in the Chicagoland area. This energetic role involves safely operating a box truck to deliver goods efficiently across designated routes throughout the City of Chicago and surrounding suburbs while providing exceptional customer service. As a key member of our delivery team, you will ensure timely pickups and drop-offs, handle loading and unloading, and maintain a positive experience for our customers.
Routes may vary daily and include both residential and commercial deliveries. Start times typically range between 7:00 AM and 10:00 AM depending on the assigned route and workload.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class C box truck to deliver products to various locations within the Chicagoland area, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or forklifts as needed, ensuring items are secured properly for transit
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries and pickups
- Follow designated routes efficiently, managing schedules to meet delivery deadlines while maintaining safety standards
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any maintenance issues promptly
- Assist with warehouse activities such as inventory management, moving goods within storage areas, and organizing shipments
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery receipts for record-keeping purposes
Experience
- Experience with furniture delivery, moving, or white glove service is a plus
- Customer service skills with direct client interaction
- Warehouse experience including load & unload procedures and equipment operation such as forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus
- Valid Class C Driver’s License
- Familiarity with safety protocols related to heavy lifting, moving goods, and vehicle operation in a logistics environment
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy items and handling a high volume of deliveries

Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
