This role offers flexible hours up to 29 per week, reporting directly to the Operations Manager. You will engage with the community, uphold safety standards while driving a 3-ton truck, and ensure all pickups are logged properly. Strong organizational skills are crucial for route mapping efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collect garbage from charity donation bins as scheduled
• Perform vehicle inspections before and after trips
• Submit necessary documentation and logs daily
• Communicate with dispatch throughout the route
• Ensure only authorized personnel travel in the vehicle
Requirements:
• Completed Grade 12 or equivalent
• Full Class 5 or G driver’s license required
• Minimum 5 years of driving experience needed
• Clean driver abstract, recent within 21 days
• Ability to handle loads up to 50 lbs
