Full job description

Duties:
Safely and efficiently operate a 5-ton truck
Load and unload household furniture and effects safely and efficiently
Ensure all necessary paperwork, such as delivery receipts and logbooks, are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Perform pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in proper working condition.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise.
Skills:
Valid Class 5 Drivers License with a clean abstract, air brake endorsed is nice to have but is not necessary.
Experience operating trucks with manual transmissions
Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate completion of paperwork.
ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as lead a team of 2-5.
Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and customers.
NOTE: The applicant must be willing to move and load furniture and effects out of customer residences.
