Job Profile

Our Class 1 Drivers – Heavy Haul – load, haul, and deliver a wide array of materials directly to DFI customers and branch locations throughout Western Canada. We are presently seeking a driver with experience hauling large equipment.

Job Duties

Load, haul, and deliver materials such as heavy equipment

Apply tire chains when required, as per DFI’s safe work procedures

Abide by federal hours of service and load securement

Complete pre and post trip inspections while correcting any defects immediately

Perform preventative maintenance such as greasing and refueling

Qualifications

First Aid, H2S, CSTS, Fall Protection and other safety tickets are an asset

Experience hauling heavy equipment; multicombination including jeep and booster (wheeler experience preferred)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
