INTRODUCTION:
Urban & Environmental Management (UEM) is seeking an experienced designer/drafter to join our team of professionals to work with our civil engineering team. UEM is a Niagara Falls based company, well positioned to provide services within the Niagara Region and Southern Ontario. RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Drafting and design of various civil, transportation and municipal projects
- Create and modify Surfaces,
- Detailed grading or roads, parking lots, developments both big and small
- Design road corridors,
- Create pipe networks,
- Create drainage area plans.
· Assist in design coordination with other project teams (internal & external)
· Assist in preparing design briefs, design reports, stormwater management reports
REQUIREMENTS:
· 8+ years of AutoCAD Civil3D experience with municipal infrastructure
· Graduate of engineering program preferred (C.Tech., C.E.T., or P.Eng.)
· OACETT or PEO members an asset
· Familiar with current Niagara area municipalities engineering design guidelines
· Familiar with Niagara Region CAD standards
COMPENSATION:
· Hourly rate commensurate with experience
o Competitive salary in the range of $85,000 to $95,000
· 37.5-hour work week with flexible work-week schedule
· Starting minimum 3 weeks’ vacation per year (depending on experience), increasing as per UEM policy

Pay: $85,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
