Camp Chestermereis a year-round Christian Camp and Ministry organization, located lakeside in the City of Chestermere, Alberta, 15 minutes from Calgary. During the months of July-August, Camp Chestermere operates as a non-denominational Christian summer camp serving youth ages 5-17 in a variety of day, overnight and leadership camp programming. Offering exciting activity options such as archery, canoeing/kayaking, power tubing, wall climbing, amidst much, much more.

Camp Chestermere presents the love of Jesus Christ to youth and communities by Building Relationships, Creating Experiences and Developing People. During the months of September-June, Camp Chestermere operates as a year-round rental facility servicing church, school and corporate events/retreats as well as private bookings.

Under the direct guidance of the Programs & Ministry Coordinator, theChristian Leadership Training & Discipleship (CLTD) Program Leadsare responsible for organizing delivery of the CLTD program and providing leadership to the teens participating in the program. Responsibilities include:

Provide guidance, mentorship and serve as a strong Christian role model to young teens engaged in the program.

Plan and execute program activities.

Schedule, coordinate and deliver CLTD curriculum.

Manage program administration, scheduling and resource/supplies.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of CLTD facilities.

Provide oversight to the chores CLTDs are accountable for including: serving food, managing lakefront weeds, doing dishes, and ensuring all gratis tasks are completed in a timely manner and to required standards.

Act as overnight cabin leaders for CLTD campers, including leading in-cabin devos and sleeping in cabins.

Attend and participate in all staff devotionals, fireside times and evening events.

Note: Given the broad scope of the CLTD program, specific areas of leadership accountability may be assigned based on skills and experience.
