Embark on a fulfilling journey as Waverley Church’s Children’s Ministry Pastor. This full-time role focuses on guiding children and supporting families through faith in Jesus Christ.
Waverley Church seeks a dedicated pastor committed to nurturing children’s spiritual growth and fostering their relationship with God. In this role, you’ll engage with children aged 6 months to sixth grade, leading a team of around 80 volunteers. Your responsibilities include overseeing Sunday morning programs, pastoral care for families, and executing annual events. A strong biblical foundation and leadership skills will be essential for this impactful ministry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage Sunday morning children’s programming
• Participate in the Pastor/Elder team for spiritual guidance
• Organize annual holiday events and Vacation Bible School
• Provide pastoral care and support to families
• Lead mid-week kids ministry activities
Requirements:
• A strong faith in Jesus Christ
• Minimum three years of related ministry experience
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant field
• First Aid and CPR training is preferred
• Alignment with reformed theological beliefs
