Join the City of Pitt Meadows this summer as a Child and Youth Worker, supporting community enrichment through engaging recreation programs for children and youth.
This role focuses on facilitating a variety of summer recreation programs while offering support and leadership within our community from June until the end of August 2026. Candidates under 30 will utilize their skills in program planning to implement sports, camps, and youth center activities while ensuring safety and fun.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and implement engaging recreation programs
• Facilitate sports and drop-in activities for youth
• Assist in leading after school and summer camp programs
• Organize outdoor events and special youth activities
• Create a supportive environment for recreational experiences
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• Minimum age of 30 years
• Demonstrated leadership in child-centric programs
• British Columbia Driver’s License
• Certification in Standard First Aid, CPR Level C, and Food Safe
