Child Care Educator Needed for Our Briar Hill Location Jobs in Calgary at Briar Hill Children’s Programs
Briar Hill Children’s Programs is a non-profit, licensed child care program providing exceptional care to children in our Out of School Care programs. We have been a valued part of the community for over 40 years and work in close partnerships with our schools.
We are looking for a motivated, experienced and enthusiastic educator to complete our team at our Briar Hill location. We are able to offer straights shifts, full-time positions competitive wages, comprehensive health benefits and a positive, healthy work environment.
To be eligible for this position, you must have a Level 1, 2, or 3 Childcare Certificate.
The roles and responsibilities of the successful applicant are;
Provide effective supervision of the children
Build meaningful relationships with the families, staff, school and management team
Provide and implement programming based on the needs, interests and abilities of the children
Communicate with the children, families, staff and our management team on a daily basis
Model appropriate interactions and conflict resolution
Continue to take part in continuous learning and professional development opportunities in an effort to maintain current best practices

Computer Skills
The ability to engage in physical activities (running, swimming, lifting 40 lbs.)
The ability to set limits and lead a group independently

We offer;
$19.64 – $28.62 per hour (Includes Government Wage Enhancement)
3 Paid Days off/year, plus earned vacation time
