Make a positive impact on children’s lives as a Child Care Assistant at Schoolhouse Playcare in various Ontario locations. This contract, on-call position offers flexibility while engaging with infants to school-age children.
You will assist in creating a challenging yet nurturing environment tailored to support individual child development. Work collaboratively with the Supervisor and Early Childhood Educators to implement activities that help children thrive, addressing their unique needs and interests through purposeful engagements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Help plan and deliver developmentally suitable activities
• Work with educators to provide effective child care
• Maintain professional communication with families and staff
• Engage actively in all program-related events
• Report family inquiries to supervisors for resolution
Requirements:
• High School Diploma and minimum age of 18
• Valid First Aid and CPR C certification
• Experience with children in licensed settings
• Proven ability to create engaging learning experiences
• Understanding of child development needs
