About the Role We are looking to hire a visionary COO to oversee DBSync’s operational processes and procedures.
You will
be the company’s second-in-command and responsible for the efficiency of business.
The COO will team up with management to implement business strategies.
You will
assist in compiling the company’s budget, and employ strategies to safeguard assets and stock. To ensure success you should have a clear understanding of our company’s core values and culture. Top candidates will be exemplary leaders, have superb business acumen and have a sound understanding of business strategies.
Our ideal candidate has extensive experience within the industry, perhaps having worked your way up through the ranks to your role as an executive.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the CEO in setting and driving organizational vision, operational strategy, and hiring needs
Managed a team of 100. Prior experience in Sales, Marketing or Technology, a required.
Numbers driven, setup up KPI’s and manage process, people and product / services to achieve those KPI’s.Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of executives (IT, Marketing, Sales, Finance etc.). Understanding of Accounting for SaaS companies is a plus.
Numbers driven with experience with Project and Program management, operational business intelligence and process improvements like Six Sigma or others
Experience in planning, budgeting and execution of plans
PMP or Program management experience a plus Represent the company in local events to increase
brand awareness
Build and grow the team as the company grows internationally
Translate strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth helping to implement organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operating planning
Driving the company’s operating capabilities to surpass
customer satisfaction
and retention, and company goals.
Ensure effective recruiting, on-boarding, professional development, performance management, and retention
Delegating responsibilities to ensure staff members grow as capable participants.
Assessing and implementing improved processes and new technologies, and collaborating with management regarding the implementation of these improvements.
Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication
Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
Write and submit reports to the CEO in all matters of importance
Assist CEO in fundraising ventures
Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances etc.)Manage relationships with partners/vendors
Skills and
Qualifications:
5+ years experience in executive
leadership
positions
Proven experience as Chief Operating Office or relevant role Understanding of business functions such as Sales, HR, Finance, marketing etc.
Demonstrable competency in
strategic planning
and business development
Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
