Full job description
World Meatsis an established and diversified meat purveyor serving the GTA and surrounding areas since our inception in 1999. World Meats has supplied the foodservice industry with a wide variety of meats and meat products including specialty items for our multi-cultural communities.
Responsibilities
· Cut and trim poultry in order to prepare orders as per specifications
· Remove bones and skin from meat
· Receive, inspect and store meat upon delivery to ensure quality
Requirements
· Knowledge of raw materials, productions processes, quality control
· Knife, knowledge and expertise
· Ability to keep the hand and arm steady while moving the arm and hand in one position.
· Ability to see details at a close range
· Problem Solving Skills
· Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment
· Ability to Work well under pressure
· Ability to Work in a fast pace environment,
· Standing for long periods of time
· Handling heavy loads
Working Conditions
· Ability to work in cold temperatures (-10/+4) degrees “C”
· Ability to stand for long periods of time
· Ability to push, pull, lift up to 100 lbs
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Day shift
Monday to Friday
Morning shift
No weekends
