You will lead a team of mechanical tradespeople, ensuring compliance with safety and engineering standards while mentoring for skill development. This role requires proven experience in leading maintenance projects, troubleshooting, and effective communication. You will be integral in supporting operational efficiencies and improving safety metrics in our SAGD operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee mechanical maintenance and safety initiatives
• Conduct toolbox and safety meetings regularly
• Ensure compliance with codes and specifications
• Manage contractor reports and field-ticket approvals
• Foster team development and skill enhancement
Requirements:
• Journeyman certification or equivalent experience required
• Minimum of 10 years in maintenance of heavy industry
• Proven leadership experience in mechanical trades
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Clean Class 5 driver’s license necessary
