Responsibilities:
Ensure that Trican’s core value, “We won’t put anyone in harm’s way” is the priority in all activities Ensure adherence to Workplace Safety, Environmental, National Safety Code, Trican Well Service Ltd, government, as well as client policies and regulations Investigate workplace incidents and Initiate the disciplinary process for infractions by operations staff Supervise and operate various large duty trucks over
diverse
outdoor terrain and conditions Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections by accurate completion of corresponding driver log forms while remaining in accordance with Trican inspection procedures Conduct pre-job Acidizing and Cementing calculations involving blending and mixing, volumetric calculations and rates, as well as hydrostatic calculations Conduct supervision along with rig-up of treating iron, manifolds and recording equipment Perform supervision and rig-out of all equipment for travel and conduct movement to following site Perform and supervise maintenance operations to units and auxiliary equipment Assist with the evaluation and training process of operations personnel Perform three of each standard primary Cementing treatments or three of each standard Acid treatments Experience &
Skills:
Minimum two years experience in cement operations Valid Class 1 driver’s licence is required Pressure pumping experience is preferred High school diploma is an asset Safe driving skills; driver’s abstract will be requested Physically demanding, heavy lifting required Excellent
communication skills
