Our client, a Top 5 Bank in Canada is looking to hire a CDM Governance Consultant to their team for an initial 6 month contract which is renewable. This role is currently hybrid, 1 days a week in office in Toronto.
Responsibilities Include:
Act as the central point of knowledge for client reference data governance, offering expert guidance to stakeholders. Establish and nurture relationships with BMO business stakeholders and third-party data vendors Collaborate with business stakeholders to drive data remediation efforts, streamline processes, implement data quality controls, and reduce exceptions. Provide insights and input on change initiatives to improve data management practices. Utilize Informatica AXON and IDQ tools to develop and maintain business glossaries, definitions, policies, business rules, local rules, and data quality tests.
Qualifications:
10+ years of relevant experience in data governance roles within the financial services industry. Profound expertise in data management practices, including data profiling, matching, cleansing, mastering, and exception management. Demonstrated experience in contributing to complex projects. Strong familiarity with operational data management and reporting functions. Preferred knowledge of Fenergo or similar client lifecycle management applications. Understanding of Capital Markets regulatory requirements is an asset.
