Applied Landscape Materials Inc. is a family owned business focused on providing and installing natural and recycled wood mulch materials to commercial, municipal, educational and homeowners throughout Northern California. Applied Landscape Materials, Inc. utilizes state-of-the-art blower trucks for delivery and installation.
The Coloring Technician is responsible for coloring/dying virgin material by use of front end wheeled loader and coloring equipment. They will also be transporting material to and from our Rocklin, Lincoln, El Dorado Hills and Sunol yards via semi truck and walking floor trailer.
Responsibilities:
- Manufacture dyed bark mulch
- Yard Safety
- Safely operating front end wheeled loader
- Safely operating various equipment and machines in coloring process (will train)
- Daily, weekly, monthly maintenance of coloring equipment (will train)
- Ability to estimate yardages of large material piles and colorant stock and communicate quantities with management
- Loading landscape bark into trucks and coloring trommel using a wheel loader
- Safely and efficiently transport material between yards in Rocklin, Lincoln, El Dorado Hills and Sunol
- Miscellaneous other labor involved duties
- Serve as a brand advocate and ambassador in every interaction with clients and the public
- Observe and report equipment or mechanical failures immediately
Requirements:
- Loader experience
- Valid CDL Class A License
- Mechanically inclined
- No serious tickets or accidents
- No DWI/DUI in last 10 years
- Able to carry at minimum of 50 lbs
NOTE- This is a full time SWING SHIFT position. Shift starts at 2pm. Must have reliable transportation to get you to work on time!
