Duties
- Assist with food preparation, presentation, and serving at catering events
- Set up and break down catering stations, including tables, linens, and utensils
- Ensure all food handling complies with safety standards and food safety regulations
- Provide exceptional guest services by attending to client needs and inquiries
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and serving stations throughout events
- Support the delivery of catering orders, including packing and transportation when necessary
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth event execution and timely service
- Restock supplies as needed during events to ensure seamless operation
Skills
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards
- Experience in hospitality or hotel settings is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Flexibility to work during evenings or weekends as required for events
- Basic food preparation skills and familiarity with serving protocols are advantageous
