About
The Role
We are seeking an accomplished Mill Operator with extensive operational experience to support the development and mentorship of our mill operator workforce. The Senior Mill Operator will play a key role in reinforcing safe work practices, improving operator capability, and supporting consistency in mill operations through hands‑on guidance and knowledge transfer. This role is located at the Côte Gold Mine Site and offers a fixed‑term, flexible or occasional schedule.
Responsibilities
- Provide on‑the‑job coaching, mentoring, and technical guidance to mill operators across relevant circuits and operating areas.
- Share best practices in safe, efficient, and reliable mill operations, drawing on extensive operational experience.
- Support the development of operator skills, confidence, and decision-making in both field and control‑room environments.
- Assist with hands‑on training, demonstrations, and informal assessments aligned with existing procedures and standards.
- Act as a resource to supervisors and training teams by identifying skill gaps, operational risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Promote strong safety leadership, reinforcing compliance with site safety standards, SOPs, and environmental requirements.
- Provide feedback and insights that contribute to continuous improvement of training materials, procedures, and operating practices.
Job Qualifications Key Skills & Knowledge
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong working knowledge of mill processes, equipment, control systems, and plant troubleshooting.
Relevant Experience
- Extensive experience in mill operations, with demonstrated competence across multiple circuits and/or operational areas.
- Proven ability to coach, mentor, and support the development of others in an operational environment.

What We Offer
Salary Range: $70,800 – $106,200 + Bonus.

Flexible and occasional scheduling is available based on operational and training needs. This role can be structured as casual, part‑time, or contract, depending on availability and mutual agreement.
