Sales Ambassadors at Lush are experts in product and brand knowledge, providing exceptional customer consultations and product demonstrations. They build strong team relationships, contribute to shop excellence in sales and operations, consistently surpass daily sales goals and create a fun inclusive team environment.
They put themselves in the customer’s shoes, offer personalized recommendations, share knowledge, and create a memorable experience for every shopper.
Sales Ambassadors also support a positive impact on the world, sharing Lush’s values such as fighting animal testing, fresh cosmetics, ethical buying, vegetarian, handmade, and naked packaging.
Responsibilities
Sales and Customer
Experience:
- Driving Sales: Utilize Store Force dashboard results and seek feedback to exceed sales goals.
- Customer
Experience:
Deliver a world-class experience, listen attentively, and demonstrate product benefits.
- Building the Brand: Communicate Lush values and host store events to bring traffic.
- Product Passion: Continuously expand product knowledge and make informed recommendations.
Team Involvement:
- Development: Use Lush resources to improve skills and support the team.
- Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging: Encourage open communication and foster belonging.
Operational Excellence:
- Time and Attendance: Be punctual, reliable, and take breaks when necessary.
- Visuals and Merchandising: Maintain a clean, organized, visually appealing store.
- Stock and Inventory: Adjust product displays per sales guidance.
- Policies and Procedures: Practice company standards for opening/closing, product integrity, respectful workplace and health and safety.
Qualifications
Required:
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge and passion for skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business.
- Flexible schedule to accommodate store needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- NOTE:
Candidates under the age of 18 selected will be employed via the Lush Youth Employment Program, in line with local regulations.
Preferred:
- Experience with consultation-based customer service models.
- Strong problem-solving skills for day-to-day operations.
- Experience working in a team environment.
- Experience in skincare or cosmetics.
- Experience in cross cultural collaboration and DEIB or social justice training.
- Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages.
Pay: $17 – $17 CAD per hour.
