Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused cashier and general worker to join our team. As a cashier, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring smooth transactions at the checkout.
Responsibilities:
– Greet customers with a friendly attitude and assist them during the checkout process
– Scan items, provide pricing information, and process payments accurately
– Handle cash, credit, and check transactions with precision
– Resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner
– Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
– Promote store loyalty programs and special promotions to customers
Qualifications:
– Proficient in English; multilingual abilities are a plus
– Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
– Previous experience in cashiering or retail is preferred
– Familiarity with basic math calculations for handling transactions
– Knowledge of technical sales or product demonstrations is advantageous
– Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
– Effective time management and organizational abilities
