– Greet customers and provide them with prompt and courteous service
– Process customer transactions accurately using cash registers or POS systems
– Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions
– Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
– Answer customer questions and provide information about products or services
– Upsell additional items or promotions to customers
– Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels
– Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines when handling food items

– Previous experience as a Cashier or in a similar role is preferred but not required
– Basic math skills to handle cash transactions accurately
– Strong customer service skills with the ability to resolve customer complaints or issues in a professional manner
– Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient checkout process
– Knowledge of food safety regulations is a plus
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
– Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
