Fair & Square Home Services is looking for a reliable, hard-working Carpenter’s Assistant to join our production-level remodeling crew. We specialize in high-quality home repair and improvement projects, delivering beautiful, polished results that exceed client expectations. - Assist experienced carpenters and crew leads with all phases of residential remodeling and repair projects, including bathrooms, kitchens, basements, flooring, trim work, framing, and other home improvement tasks.
- Perform site preparation before work begins (protecting floors/furniture, setting up tools and materials, etc.).
- Maintain exceptional cleanliness and organization throughout the job site at all times — this is a critical part of the role. We keep job sites clean, safe, and professional from start to finish.
- Handle material movement, tool organization, and daily cleanup to support a smooth, efficient workflow.
- Work as an integral part of a tight-knit crew that operates at a production-level pace while maintaining high standards of quality and craftsmanship.
- Contribute to a positive, focused work environment where we deliver an outstanding client experience and a truly beautiful finished product every time.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in construction, carpentry, remodeling, or general labor is preferred but not required — we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to keep up with a fast-paced, production-oriented crew.
- Attention to detail, especially regarding job site cleanliness and organization.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work on your feet all day, and handle physical demands of construction work.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
