Overview
Join our growing construction and carpentry team! This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of construction and restoration projects, utilizing your craftsmanship and hands-on expertise. Our small company values close-knit teams, and values employees with a broad range of skills who are open to working on a variety of different projects. We operate a rot repair/restoration business, a new construction/remodel general construction business, a septic/site work business, and a cabinet and woodworking shop, and have openings in all areas.
Responsibilities
- Assist with framing and finish carpentry, restoration/rot repair, and paint and finishes.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely to removed, cut, shape, and install materials.
- Read blueprints and schematics to accurately execute project specifications.
- Support restoration efforts including water damage remediation, mold remediation, plastering, siding installation, and water damage restoration projects
- Handle heavy lifting of materials and equipment while maintaining proper safety protocols
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction site work with knowledge of framing, trim carpentry, roofing or related trades
- Skilled in using hand tools and power tools effectively and safely
- Must have personal hand tools and reliable and capable transportation.
