Carpenter – Marine Industry
Join our dynamic team as a Marine Carpenter. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse, hands‑on projects across the marine industry, supporting restoration, fabrication, and high‑quality carpentry on a wide range of vessels.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform sanding, caulking repairs, and plank repairs.
- Install, fabricate and remove teak decking with precision.
- Execute interior carpentry tasks including fitment, adjustments, and finishing.
- Safely and effectively use hand tools and power tools.
- Support restoration projects, including water‑damage repairs and structural adjustments.
- Handle heavy lifting, material transportation, and other physical tasks.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment through site cleanup and proper organization.
- Perform tile laying and other specialized construction activities based on project needs. Qualifications
- Proven experience in carpentry with a solid understanding of marine carpentry techniques.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools, with a strong commitment to power‑tool safety standards.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, including OSHA standards, and proper use of PPE.
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred.
- Dependable, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Willing to travel to different work locations as required.
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
