Job Description:
Under the direction of the Head Carpenter, prepare, cut, assemble, finish and install a wide variety of projects in the entertainment, retail, exhibit, event and brand experience industries.
Required Skills:
· The ability to interpret and follow construction drawings and building plans.
· Sound knowledge of woodworking tools and methods of all aspects of carpentry, from building of large structures to cabinetry.
· Measure, cut, or shape wood, plastic, metals and other materials, using hand and power tools.
· Install interior and exterior structures and fixtures.
· Help erect, level, and install building frameworks.
· Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes.
· Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.
· Able to provide customer service when required.
· Must be able to lift 75lbs.
· A desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
· Detail oriented and deadline conscious.
· Ability to problem solve.
· Integrate and work well with a team.
· Experience in broadcast television set construction, installation of elements for the trade show industry and larger interior and exterior projects an asset.
· Mechanical knowledge, electrical and welding experience an asset.

Pay: $28.00-$40.00 per hour
