Overview
We are seeking skilled and dedicated carpenters to join our construction and restoration team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in carpentry, minor concrete forming, with a focus on delivering high-quality craftsmanship in various projects. This role offers opportunities to work on diverse construction sites, including siding, concrete finishing, framing and finish tasks. Candidates should be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of performing physically demanding work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute projects accurately
- Perform minor concrete forming, finishing, and related restoration tasks
- Operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Install siding, perform carpentry work, and execute renovation projects as required
- Engage in heavy lifting and manual labor to move materials and equipment around job sites
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment at all times
- Assist with the setup and teardown of construction sites, ensuring cleanliness and organization
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to client specifications
Experience
- Proven experience in construction-related roles with knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics
- Hands-on experience with concrete forming, finishing, and restoration techniques
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation
- Background in carpentry, woodworking, siding installation, or related trades is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods
- Prior experience managing projects is an assett
- Demonstrated ability to read technical drawings and follow detailed instructions
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions for long hours, at times

Pay: $28.00-$38.00 per hour
