Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Career Counsellor / Sales Associate to join our on-site team in Mississauga on a full-time or contract basis. This role is ideal for a driven sales professional who excels at building relationships, guiding prospective students, and consistently driving successful enrollments. This position uniquely blends direct sales, client consultation, and student support, with a strong focus on helping clients choose the right programs while consistently achieving performance targets.
Important Note:
This role is strictly for candidates with real, measurable sales experience. General customer service or retail experience alone will not be considered equivalent. Profiles limited to retail/store-based customer service must demonstrate strong, measurable sales achievements to be shortlisted.
Key Responsibilities
Consult & Advise: Conduct in-depth consultations with prospective students to understand their goals and recommend highly suitable academic or career programs.
Drive Enrollments: Guide clients seamlessly through the application and enrollment process with a professional, supportive approach.
Lead Generation & Management: Proactively generate new leads while effectively managing and converting company-provided prospects.
Client Cultivation: Maintain timely, consistent follow-ups to build trust and long-term rapport while driving direct enrollment results.
Marketing & Outreach: Contribute to promotional campaigns and actively participate in social media content creation.
Team Culture: Maintain a positive, collaborative, and highly professional office environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on sales experience with a strong track record in direct sales, client conversion, and target-based performance.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, featuring a strong command of an American English accent and spoken communication.
Media Presence: Confidence in front of the camera and a strong willingness to appear in social media video content.
Professionalism: Impeccable professional presentation and strict adherence to a formal dress code.
Preferred Assets
Prior experience in education consulting, admissions, enrollment advising, or a related field is a strong asset.
Fluency in additional languages is highly valued, specifically: Punjabi, Urdu, Arabic, Gujarati, and Tamil.
Compensation Structure
Base Incentive: $3,000
Commissions: Performance-based commissions form a significant and highly rewarding part of the overall compensation structure.
