1. Understands and adheres to SOP requirements, GMP practices and job specific packaging procedures.
2. Reads and understands packaging procedures prior to each job.
3. Performs a variety of manual tasks associated with the packaging of pharmaceutical products for both clinical and commercial jobs.
4. Monitors production output for quality and accuracy.
5. Counts product and confirms issued quantities.
6. Undertakes a detailed inspection of labels and foils for print correctness, sequencing of numbers, expiry dates, lot numbers, legibility of print, alignment of print, properly formed foil blisters, etc.
7. Identifies quality issues or concerns and brings these to the attention of the Line Leader, Shift Lead and/or Production Manager for appropriate action.
8. Lends assistance to Quality Assurance with regards to in-process inspection if/as required.
9. May assist in picking materials for job runs.
10. Uses Tropo’s ERP system accurately to electronically sign into production orders to track man hours.
11. Cleans and maintains packaging room as required throughout the week.
12. This position may require overtime and/or weekend work.
13. Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules.
14. Attendance to work is an essential function of this position.
15. Performs other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor.
Standard
Hours:
40 hours per week
Weekly Shift Rotation:
Days: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Afternoon: 3:00 PM – 11:45 PM
