In this role, you will work under the Supply Chain Supervisor, focusing on supporting Operations & Maintenance and Transportation sectors. Your responsibilities will include conducting sourcing activities, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with procurement procedures. Excellent communication and analytical skills are pivotal as you support contract award processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop sourcing strategies to meet operational needs
• Manage sourcing requisitions and execution of RFx events
• Analyze supplier spend profiles and risk assessments
• Prepare contracts and purchase documentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for improved procurement
Requirements:
• 5+ years in procurement and strategic sourcing
• Relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel
• Experience engaging with Indigenous communities preferred
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada
