Your key responsibilities
As Indirect Tax, Manager or Senior Tax Staff, you’ll primarily be responsible for working on indirect tax advisory engagements. You will be usingcutting-edge technologyand work withteam-orientedcolleagues.
Core elements of the role include;
Demonstrating an advanced understanding of indirect tax concepts and effectively applying this indirect tax knowledge to client situations
Carrying out tax technical research, drafting memos, letters of opinion and various reports as part of a client’s detailed indirect tax review
Developing and delivering timely services and work products that meet or exceed client expectations
Preparing practical andcreative solutionsapplicable to the client’s tax situation and arriving at appropriate conclusions
Independently managing multiple engagements
Identifying future opportunities for indirect tax engagements
To qualify for the role you must have;
A bachelor’s degree, preferably with an emphasis on law, accounting or finance
Managers – 5 or more years of relevant, progressive indirect tax experience
Senior Tax Staff – 3 or more years of relevant, progressive indirect tax experience
Completion of one of the CPA, CPA In-depth Tax Course, MTax, LLM or LLB
Strongproject managementand organizational skills with a proven ability to consistently meet tight deadlines
Excellent interpersonal, analytical, andproblem-solvingabilities
Exceptional verbal and writtencommunicationabilities
A high level of drive and motivation along with a commitment to learning in a tax technology environment
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
