Startec Compression & Process is looking for a dedicated B-Pressure Vessel Welder at their Shepard Shop. This position requires a journeyman trades certificate, B-Pressure Certificate, and over two years of relevant welding experience. You will be responsible for accurate welds of metal pressure vessels while following safety and compliance protocols, utilizing processes like SMAW and GMAW.
Key Responsibilities:
• Fabricate pressure vessels according to drawings
• Fit and weld components using specified techniques
• Operate overhead and jib cranes for rigging
• Ensure a safe work and organized environment
• Engage in safety and project review meetings
Requirements:
• Journeyman trades certification in welding or related field
• At least 2 years of experience in vessel welding
• Valid B-Pressure Certificate essential
• Previous experience in manufacturing is an asset
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing
