We are looking to hire for either our baker position or a team lead position (includes duties of baker position + more); wage depends on experience accumulated. If this job ad is still up, it means we are still looking to hire. Local applicants only.
Job Summary
- Preparing batters, creams, fillings, crumbles, and chocolate work
- Unmolding, wrapping, spraying, masking, and glazing cakes
- Assembling cakes and assessing them for quality and improvements
- Oversee staff (team lead)
- Manage inventory (team lead)
- Report to upper management (team lead)
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in a commercial kitchen is required
- Chocolate experience is an asset
- Able to work quickly and efficiently while performing repetitive tasks
- Able to learn quickly, follow directions, work clean, and be organized
- Heavy lifting will be required
- Positive attitude
- Punctual
- Self-motivated
- Team player
Full time availability and at least one weekend day availability is required
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
