Duties
- Supervise daily café operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company standards
- Lead staff training and development to foster a motivated and skilled team
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain quality and consistency
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cash handling procedures and POS systems
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices
- Coordinate shift schedules, manage staffing levels, and oversee restaurant management tasks
- Support customer service excellence by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Conduct staff interviews, performance reviews, and assist in hiring new team members
- Maintain cleanliness, safety standards, and overall restaurant appearance to promote a welcoming atmosphere
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and quick service or fast food restaurant environments
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking
- Demonstrated supervising experience within hospitality or food service management roles
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally
- Leadership capabilities in team management, training & development, and staff supervision
- Familiarity with inventory control, food safety protocols, and budgeting within a restaurant setting
- Experience in managing kitchen operations, food production, catering, or banquet services is highly desirable
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced casual dining or hotel environment
- Strong communication skills for effective interviewing, staff coaching, and customer interactions
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and food handling standards to ensure high-quality service
