Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a friendly and attentive Cafe Server to join our team. As a Cafe Server, you will be an essential part of our front-of-house staff, providing exceptional service to our customers, assisting with food and beverage orders, and contributing to the overall success of our bakery cafe.
Responsibilities:
Welcome customers with a warm and friendly demeanor, providing attentive service throughout their visit.
Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring special requests and dietary preferences are noted.
Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously, presenting items in an appealing and appetizing manner.
Monitor tables and respond promptly to customer inquiries, requests, and concerns, ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests.
Assist with clearing and wiping of tables, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately using the point-of-sale system.
Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and promotions, and be able to make recommendations to customers as needed.

Requirements:
Previous experience in customer service or food service roles, preferably in a cafe or bakery setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing outstanding service to every customer.
Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Food handler’s permit and previous barista training is an asset.
