We showcase our products in our four locations across the GTA. This includes retail showrooms and cafés, or a combination of both. General Description of Position

This job creates the Faema Experience for our customers by providing them with prompt service, quality food and drink, and maintaining a clean and comfortable cafe environment. The Cafe Manager is responsible for recruiting and training employees, assigning tasks, enforcing cleaning and safety standards, conducting meetings, maintaining inventory, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Open and or close restaurant

· Close and reconcile the cash registers.

· Making schedules for staff

· Demonstrating and selling luxury high end espresso machines and accessories with opportunities for commissions

· Meeting monthly sales targets

· Ensure the restaurant is clean, each station is organized, and ready for the following shift.

· Anticipates customer and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues. Communicates information to manager so that the team can respond as necessary.

· Assists with new team member training by positively reinforcing successful performance and giving respectful and encouraging coaching as needed.

· Delivers legendary customer service to all customers by acting with a customer comes first attitude and connecting with the customer. Discovers and responds to customer needs.

· Maintains a clean and organized work space so that team members can locate resources and product as needed.

· Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.

· Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines.

Requirements

· 3-5 years’ experience as a server

· Retail experience

· Valid Smart Serve certificate

· Available to work flexible hours: that may include mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and holidays

· Barista experience is an asset

· Candidates must be legally employable in Canada to be considered for employment

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

· Ability to work standing up for 8 hour shifts.

· Ability on occasion to lift up to 25lbs. unassisted and carry as required
