Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join our manufacturing and custom cabinetry team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking, carpentry, and construction, with the ability to read schematics and blueprints accurately. This role involves crafting high-quality cabinets and furniture, ensuring precise assembly, and contributing to the overall quality of our products. Candidates with experience in restoration, installation, or related trades are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to produce custom cabinetry.
- Cut, shape, assemble, and finish wood components using hand tools, power tools and other woodworking equipment.
- Measure materials accurately and perform precise cuts for cabinet components.
- Install cabinets on-site or in designated areas with attention to safety and quality standards.
- Perform finishing tasks such as sanding, staining, painting, or sealing wood surfaces.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
- Assist with other related tasks such as rebar installation, flooring installation, or masonry as needed.
- Must know how to make own cutting list
Skills
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and schematics interpretation.
- Experience with woodworking tools including hand tools, power tools, sliding table saw, edge bander and assembly techniques.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry, cabinetry construction, and wood finishing processes.
- Familiarity with construction estimating and project planning is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work on elevated or confined spaces when required.
- Knowledge of related trades such as electrical experience, plumbing.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on craftsmanship quality.
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. This position is integral to delivering high-quality cabinetry solutions while fostering a safe and productive work environment for all team members.
Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
