Join our dynamic team at Northland Cabinets, Inc., a leading provider of high-end custom cabinetry. With a reputation for craftsmanship and quality, we specialize in designing and manufacturing cabinetry for residential spaces.
As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Cabinet Installer. The Installer is responsible for performing high quality, efficient cabinetry installations. The Installer follows direction from the Lead Installer and Operations Manager and is expected to work independently once tasks and expectations are clearly defined. Installers also support the Service department by performing service work to cabinetry following installation.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to execute installations accurately.
- Safely operate hand and power tools to install cabinets according to design plans.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, protect cabinets, floors, walls and surrounding areas of the worksite from damage.
- Ensure all the required equipment and material is available onsite and load, unload, and transport tools and materials as needed.
- Fill all surface gaps and nail holes.
- Complete punch-list items.
- Remove debris from the jobsite and cleanup the worksite.
- Communicate effectively with clients, Sales Account Managers and other team members to address any installation issues or modifications.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proven experience in cabinet installation, preferred experience installing custom cabinetry with frameless and face frame construction methods.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to follow direction and accept feedback.
- Ability to work independently once tasks are assigned.
- Ability to safely use a variety of hand and power tools.
- Professional attitude and strong communication skills to maintain positive relationships with clients, builders, and coworkers.
- Understanding of necessary math principles to ensure accurate measures, cuts, and installations.
Education and Experience:
- At least two (2) years of cabinetry installation experience preferred; frameless cabinetry experience highly desired.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to successfully complete pre-employment drug screening.
- Prolonged periods of standing.
- Must be able to lift to 50 pounds at times.
Compensation and Benefits:
- We are committed to offering a compensation package that reflects the expertise and value you bring to our team. The rate for this position is is $22.00-$28.00 per hour and will be determined based on your overall experience and qualifications.
