Cabinet Finisher

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare cabinet surfaces by sanding, cleaning, and masking to ensure optimal finish application
- Apply paint, stain, lacquer, and other finishes using HVLP and airless spray equipment, as well as hand tools
- Operate power tools such as drills, sanders, and grinders safely and efficiently
- Use precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and ensure accurate finish application
- Document finish formulas, samples, and color specifications for consistency and future reference
- Handle materials carefully, including wrapping, labeling, and protecting components for delivery
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including proper disposal of waste and cleaning of tools
- Collaborate with management and fabrication teams to prioritize and complete projects on schedule
Qualifications
- Proven experience with HVLP spray equipment, surface preparation, or auto body finishing in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and spray systems
- Working knowledge of fabrication, machining, and material handling processes
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
- Basic math skills for accurate measurement and material calculations
- Experience using precision measuring instruments and assembly techniques
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of construction, painting, or millwork standards
