Our client is seeking a Buyer for a short-term contract opportunity supporting a busy procurement team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented procurement professional who is comfortable managing administrative and purchasing activities, coordinating procurement documentation, and working within SAP Ariba.
This position is starting immediately until July 10th and offers a hybrid schedule, with two days per week in-office and three days working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Retrieve and organize procurement-related records and documentation
- Assist with shared workspace and file management set-up
- Gather procurement intake information from Business Areas, including budget details, contract terms, evaluator information, and supporting documentation
- Support contract close-out activities and preparation of procurement-related correspondence
- Prepare and distribute standard procurement form letters and documentation
- Maintain accurate records and ensure documentation is complete and organized
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support procurement processes and timelines
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a Buyer, Procurement, Purchasing, or Supply Chain support role
- Hands-on experience with SAP Ariba is required
- Strong proficiency with Google Workspace applications, including Docs, Sheets, and Drive
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
