Leverage Tek is actively seeking a Business Systems Analyst – ERP Finance Applications for a permanent position with its Ottawa-based customer.

Work Location The successful candidate will be required to work on-site at the customer headquarters in Gatineau, QC, on a hybrid basis.

Key Tasks Provide daily support to stakeholders on new requests or incidents related to Financial Applications As part of a team of BSA’s support/maintain an ERP and other Financial Applications by performing such functions as application configuration, troubleshooting of complex incidents and development of new features

Develop hands on knowledge of the ERP and other Financial Applications to investigate issues, identify root causes, recommend, and drive resolutions

Proactively communicate and collaborate with Business System Owners and End Users to analyze information needs and functional requirements

Perform and review system configurations to ensure the configuration of the functional modules align with the designed business processes and perform updates as required

Act as the liaison between Finance, Operational business units, Technology teams and Vendors Proactively identify areas for improvement regarding the financial applications and existing or new business processes

Facilitate the collection of business requirements, understand, analyze, and translate them into system requirements, configurations, and customizations

Participate in the collection and presentation of evidence to support the organization’s audit cycles

Key Qualifications Minimum 3-5+ years of professional experience in a finance/accounting role or similar experience as a Business Analyst, serving mainly the accounting/finance group

Strong knowledge and experience with ERP Finance Corporate Systems/Applications, this includes a basic knowledge of IT application troubleshooting and a basic level of technical knowledge of PL/SQLStrong knowledge of core ERP enabled business cycles, more specifically accounting, procurement and accounts payables cycles

Assets

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel Finance, Accounting or related degree would be considered

Computer Science experience with formal training in the areas of ERP systems
