Job Summary
Wealth AI2 builds data, analytics and reporting capabilities that help Wealth teams make better, faster decisions. They deliver trusted dashboards, scorecards and reporting products that support business priorities and consistent measurements across stakeholders. The Wealth AI2 BI function designs and develops reporting solutions—dashboards, visualizations, and scorecards—grounded in high-quality data and aligned metrics, enabling leaders to understand performance and take action. As a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst (Contractor), you will be a senior individual contributor responsible for building and supporting Power BI and Tableau reporting products using data prepared and curated on Azure Databricks. You'll work closely with partners to translate reporting needs into scalable solutions, with strong attention to detail and end-to-end ownership. This role aligns to the Business Intelligence job family, which focuses on developing dashboards/scorecards and ensuring high-quality data and consistent metrics across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & deliver reporting products: Build and enhance Power BI and Tableau dashboards, scorecards, and standardized reporting experiences that support business needs
- Data-to-visualization ownership: Use Databricks to query/validate datasets and ensure the BI outputs are accurate, reliable, and performant
- Metric alignment & quality: Drive clarity and consistency of KPI definitions and ensure data quality and reporting integrity across stakeholders
- Stakeholder partnership: Translate requirements into actionable insights and communicate clearly using audience-appropriate visuals and storytelling
- Operate with ownership and accountability: Manage deliverables end-to-end (requirements → build → testing → release/support), proactively identifying risks and resolving issues
- Be a team player: Collaborate effectively, share best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement of BI standards and delivery
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in technology, finance, business or equivalent
Required Experience
- 8-10 years of overall experience
- 5 years of hands-on experience in Business Intelligence or Analytics roles
Required Skills
- Strong experience working with Azure Databricks, including SQL and PySpark (working with large datasets; querying/transforming/validating data for reporting use cases)
- Advanced expertise in Power BI (dashboard development, data modeling, DAX, performance optimization)
- Demonstrated ability to be detail-oriented, with strong quality control practices
- Proven ownership and accountability for delivering outcomes in a collaborative environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as a team player
- Coding proficiency
- Familiarity with Python and PySpark
- Familiarity with Tableau
- Mature QA/QC practices
- Problem-solving ability and capacity to translate business needs into business solutions
Preferred Skills
- Experience with dimensional modeling / semantic models for BI
- Experience supporting enterprise dashboards and shared KPI definitions across multiple stakeholder groups
- Wealth management reporting exposure
