Job Overview
The Financial Crime Risk Management (FCRM) group at TD Bank Group is responsible for the Enterprise Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Anti-Terrorist Financing (ATF) program.
Role Purpose
This role supports the Data Strategy and Management team to design, implement, and maintain data management standards aligned with Enterprise Data Management Office (EDMO) requirements.
Key Accountabilities
- Design and implement data management processes including data lineage, metadata, reference data, data retention, and disposition
- Establish and maintain data quality controls and monitoring processes
- Develop dashboards and metrics for data quality reporting
- Execute and manage data issue management processes end-to-end
- Collaborate with stakeholders across FCRM, Technology, DaaS, and Lines of Business
- Ensure timely escalation and resolution of high priority data issues
- Support audit findings and regulatory remediation activities
- Document and track risk mitigation and issue remediation plans
- Maintain knowledge of AML platforms and upstream data sources
- Ensure compliance with evolving AML regulations and internal standards
- Promote strong risk management and data governance culture
Stakeholder Interaction
- Engages with multiple teams including AML capability owners, technology teams, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on data priorities and issue resolution.
Technical & Functional Skills
- Strong data management and governance expertise
- Data analysis with ability to interpret business impact
- Understanding of AML or risk management frameworks
- Experience with data quality, controls, and monitoring
- Knowledge of data lifecycle and supply chain
Leadership & Soft Skills
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work streams
- High level of organization and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
Experience & Education
- 7+ years of experience in data management
- Experience in AML or risk management environments preferred
- Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills
