Role Description

We are looking for a driven Business Development Representative to join our team on an hourly contract basis and help grow Craftify AI. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business through outbound prospecting, working curated lead lists, and scheduling qualified demos for our Account Executive. You will work directly with small business owners, entrepreneurs, and service-based businesses to understand their needs and show them how Craftify AI can transform their marketing. This is a part-time contract position with the potential to expand in scope based on performance and business needs.

What you'll do:

  • Work curated lead lists to identify and engage prospective customers across a range of service-based industries.
  • Execute multi-channel outbound sales sequences across email, phone, and social media (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and other relevant platforms).
  • Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting, including cold calling, to start meaningful conversations with business owners.
  • Qualify prospects, convert interested leads into opportunities, and schedule demos for our Account Executive.
  • Follow up consistently to nurture relationships and move prospects through the pipeline.
  • Track all activity and results in the CRM and continuously refine your outreach messaging based on what works.
  • Share insights from prospect conversations to help refine our messaging, targeting, and outbound strategy.

What success looks like:

  • Consistently booking qualified demos for the Account Executive each week.
  • Taking full ownership of your pipeline and activity metrics.
  • Learning quickly and improving conversion rates over time.
  • Contributing insights that sharpen our outbound approach.
  • Building a strong feedback loop between prospecting activity and sales outcomes.

Who you are:

  • Early in your sales career or looking to break into tech and startups.
  • Comfortable with cold calling and high-volume outreach.
  • Self-directed and proactive—you do not wait to be told what to do.
  • Resilient, coachable, and comfortable with rejection.
  • Organized and accountable with a strong work ethic.
  • Excited by fast-paced environments and high-ownership roles.
  • Bonus: Experience in sales, customer service, recruiting, or any role involving frequent conversations with prospects.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with outbound tools, sales engagement platforms, or CRMs.

Compensation & Contract Details:

  • $20-25 per hour, paid as an independent contractor
  • Hourly contract with flexible weekly hours
